Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is excited to welcome endocrinology provider Madison Cobb, DNP, FNP-C. Cobb joins PMC’s endocrinology team consisting of Brooks Mays, MD, Olga Izotova, MD, Alex Bonnecaze, MD, Debra Parsons, NP, and Gail Lowery, MS, FNP-BC, CDE. She will be serving the communities of Sanford and Fayetteville, diagnosing, treating and caring for patients with various endocrine diseases and metabolic disorders, including diabetes.
Cobb earned her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her doctorate of nursing practice from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She brings almost 10 years of clinical experience, including previous experience in managing diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, pituitary adenomas, hypogonadism, adrenal insufficiency and weight management.
As a child, Cobb’s grandfather was sick in the hospital. After witnessing firsthand the compassionate, patient-centered care he received, even during the difficult times, she knew she wanted a career in healthcare to provide that same support to others.
In addition to providing compassionate care, Cobb is passionate about empowering her patients through education to help them achieve their healthcare goals. “Giving patients the confidence and ability to advocate for their health in any setting is a crucial aspect of being their healthcare provider,” explained Cobb.
PMC’s commitment to providing the highest quality of care to its patients and communities was one of the deciding factors when choosing to join its endocrinology team. Cobb looks forward to having the opportunity to provide endocrine services to rural communities.
A North Carolina native, Cobb enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, their Goldendoodle, Goose, and cat, Jolene. During the summer months, Cobb and her family spend time in Emerald Isle, NC, and the winters snowboarding.
