Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is excited to welcome Charles Billig, PA, to the team at PMC Walk-In Clinic – Southern Pines to further its accessibility to PMC patients needing convenient, same-day care. The PMC Walk-In Clinic location at 200 Pavilion Way, Southern Pines, NC, is one of two walk-in clinic locations available to PMC patients.
Billig attended Campbell University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Applied Sciences, and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he received his master of physician assistant studies.
Billig pursued a career in healthcare as he has always had a passion for helping people and making a difference in their lives. He states, "It's rewarding to see the direct impact I can have on someone's health and happiness, whether through offering a listening ear, providing care, or helping them overcome a health challenge."
Billig centers his care philosophy on understanding the patient first. He believes listening and connecting with patients, considering their lifestyle, environment, and emotional health, are essential for delivering truly personalized care.
Billig joins the PMC team with over seven years of clinical experience and says he "looks forward to being part of a healthcare system that takes such good care of the community."
Outside of patient care, Billig enjoys spending time outdoors, having a good cup of coffee, and being with his three children.
