Biography
Kara Coleman, DO, is a family medicine physician at Pinehurst Medical Clinic. Dr. Coleman serves patients at PMC - North.
Dr. Coleman received her doctorate in osteopathic medicine from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Ariz., and her bachelor of science and psychology from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. Additionally, Dr. Coleman completed a family medicine residency at Duke/Southern Regional AHEC program.
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Coleman is an expert in promoting healthy living, disease prevention, health maintenance, treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, and more. As part of the PMC organization, she has access to several specialty care and wellness resources to provide the best possible care to improve their patients’ overall health and well-being.
Passionate about relationship building, Dr. Coleman enjoys creating strong provider-patient relationships to help her patients achieve their healthcare goals with a better quality of life and long-term health outcomes.
Outside of providing patient care, Dr. Coleman enjoys spending time with her husband and their young children traveling, hiking, running, and cooking.
