Biography
Lisa began her nursing career in 1997, and joined Pinehurst Medical Clinic in 2007 as a clinical staff nurse, and transitioned to the chronic care and transitional care management teams in 2016. The change in her career path came from a passion for teaching and helping patients one on one manage and understand their disease processes. She does this through educating patients on community resources, providing medication management practices, implementing treatment regimens prescribed by the primary care provider and creating a care plan specific to the patient's needs. As the Chronic Care Management and Transitional Care Management Departments' supervisor, Lisa enjoys being a liaison connecting patients to the resources and education they need to maintain a high-quality life. When Lisa is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling to the lake or beach and attending sporting events.
