Biography
Richard Wolonick, D.O., is an experienced primary care physician who graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathy from Southeastern University of the Health Sciences, North Miami Beach, Florida. He also completed a family practice residency at Malcolm Grow USAF Medical Center, 89th Medical Group, Andrews AFB, Maryland. He received an undergraduate degree from Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL, and completed a Post-baccalaureate program at Stetson University, DeLand, FL.
Dr. Wolonick has lived in the Sandhills area since 1998 and in Pinehurst, NC, since 2006. Over the years, he has developed a care philosophy that ensures each patient receives an individualized approach to their care by considering their preferences and desires while practicing medicine in a stepwise fashion using evidence-based medicine and scientifically proven guidelines and protocols.
Dr. Wolonick and his wife share three children, two grandchildren (plus one on the way), and a Sheltie, Rockie. He enjoys spending time with family, golfing, hiking, fitness, reading, watching movies, and listening to music.
