Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is pleased to announce the addition of Danielle Shellman, AG-ACNP, to its pulmonology team in Pinehurst at PMC – East. Shellman is joining PMC’s established pulmonary department, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to our patients.
Shellman attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where she earned her graduate degree with a focus on pulmonary, cardiology, and critical care. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia College and State University.
Shellman pursued a career in healthcare, as she has always been passionate about science and driven by a desire to help others. She says, “I enjoy understanding how the body works and how medical knowledge can be applied to improve people's lives.” She has developed a care philosophy centered on ensuring each patient receives the attention and care they deserve. Shellman stated, “I am deeply committed to respecting patient autonomy and providing individualized care.”
With experience working alongside PMC providers during her nurse practitioner program, Shellman is excited to join the team. She says she looks forward to being part of the collaborative and supportive work environment.
Outside of caring for patients, Shellman enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, mountain biking and traveling.
