SANFORD, N.C., June, 7, 2022 – FirstHealth Cardiology - Pinehurst Medical Clinic is pleased to welcome Lesley Pritchard, MPAS, PA-C, to its cardiology team in Sanford. Pritchard joins Drs. Mahmoud Aiteh, Michael Gillespie and Lukas Jantac.
Pritchard holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Gardner-Webb University and a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Care from Western Carolina University. She has almost 10 years of experience in the medical field that has allowed her to serve as an EMT – Paramedic and a physician assistant at a cardiovascular center. Both positions have prepared her to seamlessly step into her new role at Pinehurst Medical Clinic.
As a physician assistant, Pritchard enjoys having the opportunity to help patients by treating and preventing various diseases using her care philosophy of providing compassionate care while using evidence-based medicine to improve her patients’ overall well-being.
Pinehurst Medical Clinic’s strong commitment to its patients was why Pritchard chose to join its cardiology team. “I joined Pinehurst Medical Clinic because of their reputation for providing the highest level of care to patients in a variety of specialties,” said Pritchard as she becomes the newest addition to FirstHealth Cardiology – Pinehurst Medical Clinic. This department consists of over 15 providers committed to improving the cardiovascular health of the communities in the Sandhills. They specialize in a broad range of comprehensive care and treat more than 20,000 patients annually.
Born and raised in Michigan, Pritchard quickly called North Carolina home after attending college in the state. She currently resides in Pinehurst with her husband and seven-month-old daughter. Outside of caring for patients, Pritchard enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, horseback riding, and skiing.
