FirstHealth Cardiology with Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) are pleased to announce the addition of Lauren Malinowski, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, to its esteemed cardiology team in Sanford. Malinowski brings a wealth of experience and a patient-centered approach to care, further enhancing our commitment to providing exceptional cardiovascular services.
Malinowski earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in Philadelphia, PA, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is board-certified as a nurse practitioner and comes to the team after serving patients at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro, New Jersey.
“We are excited to welcome Lauren to our cardiology department,” said Michael Gillespie, M.D. “With her expertise and dedication in patient education and empowering individuals to take charge of their healthcare, she will be invaluable as we continue to expand our services and improve the health of our community.”
Growing up in a family where service and helping others were deeply ingrained, Malinowski developed a passion for working with people, listening to their stories, and doing her best to help them. Throughout her healthcare career journey, she has developed a care philosophy centered on meeting patients where they are, offering education and a plan of care that is accessible and tailored for them. Malinowski states, "It is my privilege to partner with my patients and develop meaningful relationships, supporting them in achieving their goals."
In her new role, Malinowski will diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions, develop individualized care plans, and work closely with patients and their families to manage heart health effectively. She will serve patients at 1818 Doctors Drive, Sanford, NC.
Pinehurst Medical Clinic Cardiology offers a broad range of comprehensive cardiology services in Lee and Moore County. Patient Services are provided under agreement with FirstHealth Cardiology.
