Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is excited to welcome Lashawnda Campbell, DNP, to its gastroenterology team in Pinehurst at PMC – Heather Glen. Campbell is joining the established team of board-certified gastroenterology physicians Dr. Eric Frizzell, Dr. Wayne Lucas, Dr. David Martin, Dr. Thomas Swantkowski, Dr. Ravikant Varanasi, Dr. Diane Williams, Dr. Farra Wilson, Dr. Viet Nguyen and advanced practice providers Casey Burnette, NP, Katie Hickey, FNP, Lindsey Huckbody, PA-C, Rebecca Johnston, PA-C, Laura Kaufman, PA-C, Laura Love, FNP, Keith Robinson, PA, Ana Santos-Burks, NP-BC, and Molly Webb, FNP-C.
As a North Carolina native, Campbell attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Greensboro, NC, where she earned her bachelor of science in nursing. She received her master's in business administration from Capella University and then her doctorate of nursing practice from Gardner-Webb University, Boiling Springs, NC. Campbell says, "Healthcare has provided me the opportunity to give of myself by providing comfort to families and patients while positively impacting their lives."
With over 19 years of clinical experience, Campbell has developed a care philosophy centered on developing a trusting provider–patient relationship, ensuring all patients receive treatment with dignity and compassion. She joined PMC due to PMC's commitment to patient-centered care, and she states she "aspires to continue to provide healthcare promotion, proudly represent the profession of healthcare while making a significant contribution to patients and their families and overall community."
When not caring for patients, Campbell enjoys spending time with her husband, dogs, family, and friends. She also loves the occasional adventure, scuba diving, and swimming.
