Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is pleased to welcome Karen Keisler, FNP, to its PMC – Heather Glen location as a member of its primary care team.
Keisler always knew she wanted to go into a field that helped others care for and become the healthiest version of themselves. She joins the department with clinical experience in primary care, outpatient cardiology, pediatrics and reproductive health.
As a Sanford, N.C., native, Kiesler expressed that her familiarity with the organization’s dedication to providing the highest quality of care to its community was a critical factor when deciding to join the team. “I chose to join PMC because the environment demonstrates expertise while also placing a high value on quality of patient care,” stated Kiesler. “There is also a commitment to the local community, which is very important to me.”
Keisler joins Pinehurst Medical Clinic’s Primary Care department which is compromised of over 20 physicians and 18 advanced practice providers who are board-certified in internal or family medicine. Pinehurst Medical Clinic Primary Care providers are experts in promoting healthy living, disease prevention, health maintenance, treatment of acute and chronic illnesses and more.
Outside of caring for patients, Keisler participates in a very adventurous lifestyle by partaking in new activities and discovering new places. When not spending time with her spouse and three cats, she occupies her time with outdoor activities such as jet skiing, kayaking and hiking.
