Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is excited to welcome Ana Santos-Burks, NP-BC, to its gastroenterology team in Pinehurst at PMC – Heather Glen. Santos-Burks is joining the established team of board-certified gastroenterology physicians Dr. Eric Frizzell, Dr. Wayne Lucas, Dr. David Martin, Dr. Thomas Swantkowski, Dr. Ravikant Varanasi, Dr. Diane Williams and Dr. Farra Wilson, Dr. Viet Nguyen and advanced practice providers Casey Burnette, NP, Katie Hickey, FNP, Lindsey Huckbody, PA-C, Rebecca Johnston, PA-C, Laura Kaufman, PA-C, Laura Love, FNP, Keith Robinson, PA, and Molly Webb, FNP-C.

Santos-Burks earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, Minneapolis, MN, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fayetteville State University.

With a passion for caring for others and helping them achieve their optimum health, Santos-Burks finds a sense of purpose when aiding her patients and positively impacting their lives. “I find great joy in taking care of patients and supporting them on their journey towards wellness, “expressed Santos Burks.

Outside of caring for patients, Santos-Burks enjoys spending time with her husband, Gary, their two daughters, and one son when they are home from college. She also loves to travel to other countries and spend time at the beach in the summer.
