Pinehurst Medical Clinic Welcomes New Provider at PMC Walk-In Clinic in Southern Pines

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is excited to welcome Jennifer L. Pelletier, PA-C, RD, CSSD, CSCS, to the team at PMC Walk-In Clinic – Southern Pines to further its accessibility to PMC patients needing convenient, same-day care. PMC Walk-In Clinic in Southern Pines is one of two Walk-In Clinic locations for PMC and is located at 200 Pavilion Way, Southern Pines, NC.

Pelletier earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO, and her pursuit of knowledge led her to Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO, where she earned a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with a concentration in Nutrition and Physical Performance. Her commitment to patient care continued as she furthered her education at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC, where she earned a Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies. Before obtaining her master’s in physician assistant studies, Pelletier served patients as a Registered Dietitian, and her experience as a Registered Dietitian shaped her care philosophy. Pelletier states she has developed a care philosophy that involves a combination of lifestyle interventions and medical management as necessary to find a solution to the illness or injury at hand. She says, " I also find it very important to collaborate with my patients regarding their treatment in order to see actionable results."

Pelletier says she looks forward to joining the PMC team because the healthcare organization is committed to quality patient-centered care, excellence, compassion, and innovation in a community near and dear to her heart. She is originally from southern Illinois but has lived in Southern Pines for over six years and says it now feels like home. Outside of work, Pelletier enjoys spending time with her husband, their two boys, and their Bernese Mountain dog, exploring all the wonderful trails and playgrounds in the area with a coffee in hand. She also enjoys trail races, cooking, and travelling with family.

PMC Walk-In Clinic – Southern Pines is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
