Pinehurst Medical Clinic Welcomes New Provider, Expands Access At Walk-In Clinic in Southern Pines, NC

Pinehurst Medical Clinic is expanding access to PMC patients needing convenient, same-day care with the addition of Kate McBride, PA, and is excited to welcome her to the team at PMC Walk-In Clinic – Southern Pines. PMC's Walk-In Clinic location at 200 Pavilion Way, Southern Pines, NC, is one of two walk-in clinic locations available to PMC patients. McBride attended Gannon University in Erie, PA, where she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences.  Becoming a Physician Assistant was personal for McBride, as she struggled with a medical illness as a child. During this time as a child, she was introduced to individuals in healthcare who showed her a career opportunity where she could help others and one day be able to pay forward the care she was given. McBride strives to provide the best care to patients, utilizing evidence-based and safe interventions. She states, "I believe in letting the body heal itself when possible, as it can perform amazing feats.”Outside of work, McBride is a hobbyist woodworker and enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter in her wood shop.  PMC Walk-In Clinic—Southern Pines is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. To learn more, please visit https://bit.ly/3J7tqYQ.
