Pinehurst Medical Clinic Welcomes Physician Assistant to Primary Care Team in West End

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) remains committed to bringing high-quality, compassionate healthcare providers to the Sandhills which is why it is excited to welcome Jacquie Potynsky, PA-C, to the PMC Primary Care – West End department located at 4208 Murdocksville Road.

Potynsky joins the team consisting of board-certified family medicine physician Dr. Michael Brackman and advanced practice providers Maritza Abonza, PA-C, and Dusty Graham, FNP-C.

Potynsky received her master of medical science in physician assistant studies from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, her master of science in athletic training from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her bachelor of science in education and kinesiology from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va.

Passionate about education, Potynsky originally went into healthcare because she wanted to make medicine easy to understand. She believes that through education, patients and their caregivers can be better advocates for their health.

In addition to education, she provides compassion and empathy to set a foundation for effective patient-provider relationships that strive to achieve the best possible outcomes.

As a PMC primary care provider, Potynsky joins a department with 24 physicians and 30 advanced practice providers board-certified in internal or family medicine. PMC primary care providers are experts in promoting healthy living, disease prevention, health maintenance, treatment of acute and chronic illnesses and more. As part of the PMC organization, primary care providers have access to several specialty care and wellness resources to provide the best possible care to improve their patients’ overall health and well-being.

As a northern Virginia native, Potynsky grew up vacationing in the Outer Banks and states that North Carolina feels like home just as much as Virginia. Potynsky now resides in Pinehurst with her husband and their children. When not caring for patients, Potynsky enjoys reading, weight lifting, photography, all sporting events and spending time with her family.
