Biography
Jennifer L. Pelletier, PA-C, RD, CSSD, CSCS, serves patients at PMC Walk-In Clinic – Southern Pines. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO, and her pursuit of knowledge led her to Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO, where she earned a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with a concentration in Nutrition and Physical Performance. Her commitment to patient care continued as she furthered her education at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC, where she earned a Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies. Before obtaining her master’s in physician assistant studies, Jennifer served patients as a Registered Dietitian, and her experience as a Registered Dietitian shaped her care philosophy. Jennifer has developed a care philosophy that involves a combination of lifestyle interventions and medical management as necessary to find a solution to the illness or injury at hand.
She is originally from southern Illinois but has lived in Southern Pines for over six years and says it now feels like home. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, their two boys, and their Bernese Mountain dog, exploring all the wonderful trails and playgrounds in the area with a coffee in hand. She also enjoys trail races, cooking, and travelling with family.
