Biography
Kate McBride, PA, serves patients at PMC Walk-In Clinic – Southern Pines. PMC's Walk-In Clinic location at 200 Pavilion Way, Southern Pines, NC, is one of two walk-in clinic locations available to PMC patients. Kate attended Gannon University in Erie, PA, where she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. Becoming a Physician Assistant was personal for Kate, as she struggled with a medical illness as a child. During this time as a child, she was introduced to individuals in healthcare who showed her a career opportunity where she could help others and one day be able to pay forward the care she was given. Kate strives to provide the best care to patients, utilizing evidence-based and safe interventions. Outside of work, Kate is a hobbyist woodworker and enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter in her wood shop.
