Biography
Lyela Sullenger, DNP, attended the University of Kansas Medical Center- School of Nursing, where she obtained her Doctor of Nursing degree. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas and her Associate’s degree in Nursing from South Plains College.
Her passion for healthcare began early in life, fueled by her strengths in math and science. However, she sought a career that involved meaningful interpersonal relationships. For Sullenger, healthcare was the ideal choice, as it combines her scientific interests with the ability to form significant connections with others. She has developed a care philosophy centered around "quality of life.”
When not caring for patients, Sullenger enjoys going on adventures with her family, kayaking, hiking, and exploring cities.
