Health Insurance
The Pinehurst Medical Clinic partners with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina to provide health insurance coverage for our benefits eligible employees. We offer both an HRA and HSA option allowing employee to choose the plan that best fits their needs. Each of our plans offer preventive care, prescription coverage, mental health, maternity, and catastrophic coverage.

Dental Insurance
Pinehurst Medical Clinic partners with MedCost to provide dental insurance coverage for our benefit-eligible employees. The plan offers preventive, basic, major, and orthodontic care from a dentist of your choice.
Vision Insurance
Pinehurst Medical Clinic offers two vision plan options through VSP to help with the cost of frames, lenses and contacts, along with an annual eye exam.
Wellness
The Pinehurst Medical Clinic’s Employee Wellness Program (EWP) seeks to foster a workplace culture that supports the well-being of employees and strives for a healthier tomorrow. EWP provides resources to promote healthy behaviors with a focus on four pillars of wellbeing: Physical, Emotional, Financial, and Social (Community).
Health Care Health Savings Account (HSA)
If you select our HSA qualifying health insurance options, you can contribute to an HSA. An HSA allows you to contribute pre-tax dollars into an account. These funds can be used for qualified medical expenses and can be rolled over from year to year.
Life Insurance
Our life insurance program features basic life, optional and dependent life, and basic and voluntary accidental death and dismemberment.
Short-Term Disability Insurance
We offer a Short-Term Disability (STD) plan for benefits eligible employees at no cost. A STD plan protects your income when you are unable to work due to your own serious illness or off-the-job injury.
Long-Term Disability
Benefits eligible employees can purchase Long-Term Disability Insurance. This will help protect your income if you are unable to come back to work after twelve months.
Paid Time Off
A combination of vacation, personal time, and sick leave are available for full-time positions through a PTO bank. The PTO program is designed to help you live the healthiest life possible. PTO accrual starts on your first day with PMC and increases with your length of service and scheduled hours worked. Additionally, Pinehurst Medical offers employees benefits eligible employees eight paid holidays throughout the year.)
Retirement Programs (401K)
Employees are eligible to participate on the first of the month following a 30-day waiting period and are encouraged to start saving for retirement as soon as possible. Employees can save using both pre-tax and after-tax options. The plan has a wide range of investment offerings and matching contributions. Employer contributions include a 25% match up to the first 4% of deferred compensation and a 3% automatic safe harbor contribution. Employees may also be eligible to receive profit sharing. Matching begins January 1 or July 1 after your first year of employment.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Confidential assistance is available for those team members and dependents experiencing emotional, financial, legal or other personal problems through Pinehurst Medical’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
Discounts
Supplemental benefits such as accidental, critical illness, and hospital advantage plans are available for benefit-eligible employees. A wide range of discounts are also available to all employees, such as identity theft protection, cell phone plans, fitness center memberships, pet insurance, and more.
Long Term Care
Long-term care insurance is designed to cover long-term services and supports, including personal and custodial care in a variety of settings such as your home, a community organization, or other facilities. You can select a range of care options and benefits that allow you to get the services you need, where you need them.
